Dear Beloved in Christ.

It is an immense pleasure to share with you about the celebration we had and completion of One year of AKMI’S Satsang Fellowship on 15th August 2007.

Six years back, I did not know Jesus but after knowing him, our lives changed. The Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit and His Love abides in us richly (John 15: 7-12). God gave me a vision and we want to bring that good news to the ends of the earth (Eph. 6:15). We are standing strong with our feet, prepared to proclaim the Gospel of Peace through Jesus Christ our Lord! The Lord has helped us and He has done it, and we give all glory to Christ Jesus. As Pastor Anil Kant says, “What God has begun; God will ensure that it will be fulfilled in his time.”

CELEBRATING 1ST ANNIVERSARY OF THE MINISTRY

We had a good year and the Lord has proved Himself Strong and Mighty on our behalf. Anil Kant Ministries was formally registered as a Trust last year. Many lives have been touched through songs, testimonies and messages and also through the ministry work that the Lord has graciously delegated us to do.

ZINDAGI FOREVER – Television Program

We started a program on God TV, called Zindagi Forever on 18th June 2006. It is praise, worship and word based television program. Zindagi means “Life” and this program spreads the good news of Eternal Life in a unique Indian style. It is a weekly program that is aired on GOD TV at 4:00pm, [India time]. We are getting tremendous response from different parts of India and abroad and it is impacting the lives of many people. People contact us through emails, letters and through the prayer line.

ABOUT THE SATSANG SABHA -SAT’ is TRUTH, while ‘SANG’ means WITH

- Launched on 15th August, 2006 in Mumbai.
- Strictly for non-believers.
- Well attended by people from all strata of society and various communities.
- Since the presentation is “Indianized,” people can relate and worship in fullness.
- Many lives have been touched and changed for His special purpose. 

- Satsang Sabhas are held regularly in India and all over the world to worship our Lord Jesus in an Indian style of worship, using Indian classical instruments, in Indian Language and present the Gospel to people in a form that is familiar to them.

ABOUT THE MINISTRY

Anil Kant Ministries International was founded last year with a vision and mission to reach out to millions of people around India and the world through Music, Media and Satsang Sabhas and fulfilling the Lord’s commission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. God enabled us to start the Television Program, Zindagi Forever on God TV and also gave us a vision to start Satsang Sabhas on a regular basis.

ON FEBRUARY 15the 2007, The National Evangelical Church of Kuwait, [NECK] recognized Bro.Anil Kant’s ministry and calling upon his life and decided to join hands for the same vision and mission. A group of Seasoned Pastors along with Senior Pastor Jerry Zanstra laid hands and ordained Bro.Anil Kant as a Pastor.

The first year of the ministry was very fruitful as the Lord took us to the ends of the earth. God opened the doors for us to go to Pakistan for the first time, where we saw thousands of people coming to hear the good news. We also organized a holy land tour of Israel, Jordan and Egypt which is also being broadcast on God TV in Hindi language for the first time. We are committed to go an extra mile to serve the spiritual and physical needs of people with the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

ON AUGUST 15th, 2007, we completed One Year of Satsang Sabha which also coincided with Sixty years of India’s Independence. There was an overflow of people, more than the capacity of the Hall. We have seen a great increase in attendance of people from the first satsang and in one year the numbers of people have increased from 150- 700 people.

The Good Lord touched everyone in a special way with His love and many newcomers experienced moksha and His aashirwaad and the Living word of Jesus brought blessings and peace into their hearts. There were testimonies, songs, and a dance by the youth along with the word of God, praying and singing for our entire Nation. It was a time of rejoicing and celebration and the hearts of people were lifted up.

THE FORTHCOMING PLANS FOR THE YEAR 2007-2008

MULTIPLYING SATSANG SABHAS - Our mission is to take the Satsangs to the ends of the earth. With the success that the Lord has given us in the first year, in spite of limited resources and many other factors, we are now encouraged that the Lord is faithful and He wants us to move ahead and increase Satsang sabhas and plant new groups in Mumbai, India and around the world. A satsang discipleship course is being prepared by Pastor Anil Kant to train and send the leaders from among the new believers. We are believing for weekly meetings in open grounds where thousands can worship together.

AAJ KI ROTI [Our Daily Bread]- We have launched a new program called Aaj Ki Roti, to reach out to the underprivileged by providing them with food, clothes, medical aid, educating them about hygiene and bringing them closer to God. This will include children, orphans, drug addicts, old and homeless, prostitutes and widows. We would appreciate your prayers and support to help us in this mission.
COOL FAITH- A youth awareness program that will bring our new generation closer to God through house groups, concerts, music & media.

We thank God for his goodness that he allowed us to serve his Kingdom and met every need and provision because he is our Jehovah Jirah. It has been a fruitful journey of one year in which we walked from strength to strength and faith to faith.
