Six years back, when a Christian friend shared the gospel with Anil Kant, little did he know that the seed for the vision of Anil Kant Ministries International [AKMI] was also birthed. As Anil's intimacy with God grew, God spoke and revealed the vision. Anil took this vision as a mission for his life. God started leading him step by step, to give form to the vision of AKMI. What began as a mere thought then, is now being fulfilled through this God given ministry of leading nations to worship the Living God. |
Starting from a humble beginning of making a gospel album, Anil Kant went on to set the nation ablaze with his album, ‘Pray for India ‘in the year 2004.A mix of classic, modern, and original tracks based on the word of God, this album and the videos were greatly appreciated by all denominations of people and was widely circulated in the national media and television. The massive response for this album indicated that “the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few”. Anil knew that the Lord was leading him to gather people for an important purpose, calling people to get right with God, Worship Jesus, pray for a revival and receive a fresh commission to take the gospel to every nation.
Soon God opened new doors, when the Christian Broadcasting Network [CBN] asked Anil to minister for their Hindi Christian daily on T.V. called Ek Nayee Zindagi, which is being televised on two of India's most popular secular channels. This program is reaching to millions of people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Anil prayed for more workers for this harvest because without people a vision perishes. God sent a team of like minded people to join him in fulfilling his vision. So with this team, AKMI is carrying out the instructions that God had placed in his heart.
The word of God which is being sung by Anil in different forms of Indian music; ghazals, bhajans, etc has touched the hearts of many all over the world. There are new songs coming with great spontaneity. The Lord's hand is anointing Anil daily with a fresh measure. He is living more and more in the Lord's presence.
In 1 John 2:27 it is written ‘As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about all things and as the anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in him.”
We are grateful to the Almighty God that he has chosen us to be that vessel, who will proclaim his salvation to all the unreached souls.
