Most Indians perceive Christianity as a foreign religion and Jesus as a God of the west. People resist the Gospel of Jesus with the fear that Christianity means change of culture and Indian values. The average Indian fears that accepting Jesus would mean a change of clothes, westernized worship pattern. Whereas the average Indian is accustomed to the classic Indian style of worship and that is called the Satsang, Kirtan or Pravachan.
Satsang is a word formed by bringing together ‘sat’ and ‘sang’.
Sat is derived from ‘Satya’ or ‘The Truth’ and ‘Sang’ implies ‘Along with’.
Put together it means ‘Along with the Truth’ and our message is that ‘Jesus’ is the truth. We are committed to establish this fact in India that Jesus is not a threat to our culture. JESUS LOVES INDIA.
Satsang, ‘Or Fellowship with Truth’, was conceived by Ps. Anil Kant who sees it as powerful tool to reach out to the non- believing Indians in India and Abroad and share the good news of Salvation through Jesus Christ in a familiar and culturally relevant manner.
